Our Women’s Season Chair, Dr. Sharon L. Holder, and her team of Sis. Cora Dandles, Co-Chair, and Dr. Ijunanya Holder, Youth Co-Chair, and their cadre of committed women of Israel, having been working intentionally in making the 2023 Women’s Season a resounding spiritual success. The theme , “I am My Sister’s Keeper,” uses I Thessalonians 5:11 as reference; the colors are shades of purple.

Our Women’s Day preacher is no stranger to Israel as she counts our former pastor, the late Rev. Dr. Edward B. Smart, Jr., as her father in ministry, and she was likewise the preacher for the Western New York Conference YPD Annual Day in Albany last May. Rev. Cavaness is a highly sought-after preacher throughout the
Connectional Church. For instance, she recently was one of the headlining preachers for our denomination’s 35th Church Growth and Development Seminar and Evangelist Certification in Nashville, TN, where Presiding Elder Sturdivant was also a workshop presenter.
